Don’t you just HATE that feeling?

It’s 2 am, your head is still buzzing and ALL of the tasty cupcake shops are closed until the morning.

Okay okay. Perhaps the rest of you aren’t irresponsible train wrecks like me! 🙂

But, bakeries with late night hours are quickly becoming a growing trend in many metropolitan areas. And with good reason!

We are all familiar with diners and dives that are open in the wee hours of the morning. In some instances, the late night food selection is mediocre at best. In other instances, the food is out-of-this-world delicious!

Depending on where you live, your late night grub options may be limited.

However, a growing trend in the food industry is set to shake up the late night bar munchies FOREVER…late night bakeries.

It’s Easy To See Why The Late Night Bakeries Trend Is GROWING; It Just Makes Sense

Yeah. If you have not heard about this new trend and you think you misread the previous statement, where are here to tell you that you read that correctly. Though it sounds too good to be true, this is real life.

Bakeries in select areas have begun to offer late night hours.

If you think about it, it makes sense. And by-and-large, you guys completely agree with this. Almost 100% of you answered “Yes” to go to a bakery with late-night hours.

Who doesn’t occasionally crave a delicious cupcake or a rich, scrumptious cookie late in the evening?

If and when this occurs, your options are fairly limited. Raid your pantry and hope you have some yummy options, or visit your local 24-hour grocery or convenience store for a (likely) slim picking-selection of desserts and pastries.

These options sound rather lame when all you want is a truly delicious dessert. Some bakeries have recognized the opportunity to capitalize on your late night cravings. Cookie shops, cake shops, and other bakeries are extending their hours to meet the need of sugar-craving customers.

Not every bakery has followed the late night trend just yet, but the list is growing.

Some bakeries have found that extending their hours into the late night or early morning brings in more revenue and customers! Surely, extending operating hours is not feasible or practical for some bakeries. But for those bakeries and pastry shops in busy, urban areas, staying open later is an excellent possibility.

It can be good for the business, and good for hungry dessert lovers!

A true win-win situation for everyone.
