The Perfect DIY Baby Rattle Cake Pops

Supplies:

Directions:

Prepare your cake pop mixture and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then, scoop it into an even portion with the cookie scoop and form them into rounded balls with your hands. It should yield 15 cake pops. Then, take 5 of the rounded cake pops and cut them in half. Reroll those halves into smaller balls. You should be left with 10 regular sized cake balls and 10 smaller cake balls. Put them in the freezer for approximately 15 minutes so that they harden. Next, follow the directions on your package of candy melts to melt the coating in a container larger enough to dip the cake balls. Be sure to add a few small pinches of the paramount crystals to ensure that your candy coating is smooth and even. Remove the cake pops from the freezer and reroll each ball so that it is perfectly round. Then, dip the end of a lollipop stick in the melted candy coating and stick it approximately halfway into the cake ball. After that, carefully dip the entire cake ball into the melted candy coating. Remove the excess by gently tapping the lollipop stick against the side of the container that the melted coating is in. Continue this process with the 9 remaining large sized cake balls. After all the large cake balls have been coated, place the tray in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so the coating can harden. While you do that, place the tray of small cake balls back in the freezer for 15 minutes. Remove both trays and continue the process, this time dipping the opposite ends of the lollipop sticks into the candy coating and inserting them into the smaller cake balls. Then, dip the smaller cake balls into the melted candy coating. Put the cake pops bake into the fridge to harden. Next, use your paintbrush to apply a thin, smooth layer of piping gel around the top of the large cake pops. Sprinkle your chosen candy sanding sugar over the piping gel-covered cake pops. Finish each rattle by tying the gingham ribbon into a small bow on the stick. Voila! There you have cake pops for baby shower!
